Spanish Orders and Decorations - Collection of Josef L. Hrdý

Opening hours: Tuesday 9 a.m-2 p.m., Wednesday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday 1-5 p.m.

The exhibition presents the private collection of Josef L. Hrdý containing 163 Spanish orders, decorations  and ensigns from the 18th - 20th centuries, hardly known and available in this country. There are royal orders, military orders of merit, civil orders of merit, military decorations, colonial orders, Carlist orders, Red Cross medals, memorial medals and crosses, societies' decorations and ensigns. Among the most valuable ranks the Spanish Order of the Golden Fleece from the 1st half of the 20th century.

Josef L. Hrdý donated his whole collection to the Moravian Museum.

The exhibition takes place under the auspices of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in the Czech Republic, H.E. Ángel Lossada Torres-Quevedo.
