The current number of collection of items - about one million - puts the herbarium of the Moravian Museum on the third place among to biggest of the Czech Republic. The herbarium contains not only dried pressed vascular plants but also mushrooms, lichens and bryophytes. Among the exhibits on display there are old herbarium items, unique wooden models of mushrooms made by Josef Rulíšek and the Mattioli herbarium.
